PV-related disturbance and safety issues: analysis of risks and mitigation measures

The project will study the electromagnetic compatibility and safety of photovoltaic installations, through field measurements, experiments, modelling and literature studies.

The general purpose of the project is to evaluate and understand the risks of interference and damage from installed PV systems, both during normal operation conditions and from malfunctions in operation.

The project aims specifically to find out what precautionary measures are in regards to network tolerance, interference and security.

The results of the study will be disseminated depending on the type of results to manufacturers, installers and the National Electrical Safety Board in Sweden.
