Grant Description

This project will capitalize on a major planned dam removal in a south Swedish river in 2023 to take, for the first time, a holistic approach to quantify the leakage of substances with potentially negative environmental impact. The research will combine field studies with lab experiments and modelling.

The results will contribute to develop strategies for environmentally-optimized dam removal.
