DocHQ Physio is developing an Asynchronous telemedicine solution.
It links through any phone/laptop/tablet camera with our Artificial Intelligence (AI) software to accurately identify and analyse an individuals exact movement.
The AI gives real-time corrective feedback while the patient is doing the exercise helping with correct form and recording the improvements made by the patient.
It allows the physio to asynchronously track the patients progress, allowing them to amend the treatment plan and minimise need for follow-up appointments and secondary interventions.
Our asynchronous telemedicine allows the physio to be more engaged with their patients progress in a more cost effective way. Over 20 million people in the UK live with a musculoskeletal (MSK) condition, such as arthritis and low back pain.
While exercise is the most effective tool, the adherence, data and low number of physio availability results in longer wait times.
There is an unmet need for providing real-time feedback to patients to drive improved outcomes while at the same time reducing the reliance on in-person appointments. To date, we are trialling this product within an NHS GP setting and working on early stage customer feedback. We have had interest from over 6 NHS trusts and hospital groups.
