Grant Description

On November 16th, 2022, the Chinese Ambassador to Gambia, Liu Jin visited Vice President Alieu Badara Joof at the State House.

He also donated 11,740,000 Gambian dalasis as well as 600 bags of rice and 520 drums of cooking oil on behalf of the Chinese government.

The money and supplies will be used to aid in reconstruction and rehabilitation after the Gambia suffered from flash flooding in June 2022.
