On October 29, 2022, Beijing Urban Construction Group, a China-owned enterprise, donated medicine and protective materials to hospitals in the Bangou and Bamendjou subdivisions of Cameroon. The materials included masks, disinfectants, and medicines to help treat rheumatism, typhoid, and malnutrition.
