Grant Description
On June 1, 2019, the China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) donated gift boxes and bags of necessities to orphans residing at the Dar Al-Orman Charitable Association. The bags of daily necessities included items such as diapers, powdered milk, eggs, candy, and stationery. The purpose of the donation was to celebrate International Children's Day.
At a donation ceremony held on June 1, Zhou Jing Feng, Vice President of CSCEC, said that children are the hope of the future in China and Egypt.
Located in 6th of October City, Giza Governorate, this branch of the Dar Al-Orman Charity Association houses 81 orphans between the ages of one week and 18-years old. The orphanage consists of two floors, with about 20 rooms classified according to age groups. The financial value of the donation is unknown.
