Chinese Government provides free-standing assistance for the China-Bahrain Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Fishery Cooperation Project

In 2003, the Chinese Government and the Government of Bahrain signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA) to further cooperation in agriculture, animal husbandry and fishery. Record ID#98620 captures the initial agreement.

Since then, China and Bahrain engaged in cooperation in the field of agriculture, animal husbandry, and fisheries with at least five phases of the project, sending Chinese experts to Bahrain to train Bahrain personnel.

There was assistance committed in 2012, with six Chinese experts (four experts on growing vegetables and animal husbandry and two fish disease experts from China) sent to Bahrain's Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, as captured by Record ID#41204.

There was assistance committed in 2014 as part of the fourth phase, which trained over 200 Bahraini personnel and was completed, as captured by Record ID#110753. There was assistance committed in 2018 as part of the fifth phase, as captured by Record ID#110754.
