Grant Description
In 2015, China Civil Engineering Construction Company (CCECC) provided an 80,000 USD grant for the rehabilitation of a block of six classrooms at Satellite Junior Secondary School, located in Satellite Town, Lagos, Nigeria.
The project was financed and implemented by CCECC, and construction lasted two months and finished on September 5th, 2015. The project was executed under the framework of 'China-Africa People-to-People Friendship Action'.
After construction finished, CCECC donated USD 5,000 worth of school equipment and supplies to the school (captured in Record ID#98152) and the Chinese Consulate General in Lagos donated stationery and school bags (captured in Record ID#98168).
