Grant Description

On September 11, 2017, the Shanghai Public Library donated several recently published books to the National Library of Mauritius. The exact number of books and monetary value of this donation are unknown. A handover ceremony was held at the National Library of Mauritius.

Zhou Deming, the Deputy Director of the Shanghai Library, Director Ramnott of the National Library of Mauritius, Lu Peng, the Minister of Arts and Culture of Mauritius, and the staff of the Cultural Office of the Chinese Embassy in Mauritius attended the ceremony. After the book donation ceremony, the delegation conducted business exchanges with nearly 50 Mauritius librarians.
