Grant Description
On March 22nd, 2021, the Government of the Dominican Republic and the People's Republic of China signed the economic and technical cooperation agreement, motivated by the desire to further develop friendly relations and economic and technical cooperation between both countries.
The agreement was signed by the Minister of Economy, Planning and Development, Miguel Ceara Hatton, and the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China in the Dominican Republic, Zhang Run, for a non-reimbursable amount of two hundred million RMB yuan (equivalent to 1,747,371,244.80 Dominican pesos) destined to finance future projects agreed between both parties.
