Grant Description

On June 30, 2022, the Chinese Embassy in Kenya and the UN Children's Fund (UNICEF) held a ceremony to celebrate the completion of this "maternal, newborn, and children's health project".

The project offered medical materials and training to 159 health facilities in 8 counties across Kenya, benefiting more than 3 million people, especially in the remote parts of the country.

Similar projects were launched in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Niger, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Sudan, and Zimbabwe.
