Grant Description
On March 15, 2021, the National Health Commission of China to Cameroon donated a batch of medical equipment to fight the Covid-19 pandemic at the Yaounde Central Hospital.
Guo Jianjun, Economic and Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Cameroon, participated in the handover ceremony and signed the handover certificate with Hassan, Director of the Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Health of Cameroon.
This batch of equipment was donated by the National Health and Sanitation Committee of China to the Ministry of Health of Cameroon under the cooperation mechanism of 30 Chinese-African counterpart hospitals (the Chinese and Cameroonian hospitals are respectively the First Hospital of Shanxi Medical University and the Central Hospital of Yaoundé), including respiratory machine, expectoration machine, electrocardiogram machine, blood oxygen saturation monitor and oxygen generator.
