Grant Description

In 2021, the Chinese Embassy implemented a training program in Peru and executed USD $414,000 for the program.

This program included 40 seminars and training provided by Chinese health professionals to 220 Peruvian professionals from Lima, Piura, La Libertad, Ancash, Huánuco, Cajamarca, Junín, Lambayeque, and Arequipa. The seminars focused on health, poverty alleviation, and financial cooperation.

The topics of the seminars were on health, poverty alleviation, financial cooperation, tourism management, 5G development, trade, intellectual property, water resources, capacities for NGDOs, development of China, aquaculture green, public administration, clean energy, governance, quarantine of agricultural products, culture, management monetary, trade promotion, foreign assistance, and disaster reduction, among others.
