Grant Description

On November 4, 2021, the Chinese Embassy donated 122 sets of desks and chairs to Keningya Primary School in Burundi. The school is located in Gatumba County in the Bujumbura Agricultural Province of Burundi.

The purpose of the donation was to improve the educational environment for students in Burundi and support their overall educational development goals. The monetary value of this donation is unknown. A handover ceremony was held for this donation.

The Chinese Political Counselor Wang Yuan, and representatives of UNICEF in Bujumbura, Bujumbura Agricultural Provincial Government, and the Ministry of National Education and Research attended the ceremony.
