Grant Description

On February 25, 2021, the opening ceremony for the Chinese-funded Juncao Technical Training Course was held at the Demonstration farm aided by China.

The training course received funding from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of China and from the China-Aid SA Agricultural Technology Cooperation Project. The event marks the start of China-backed efforts to develop agriculture capacity in Samoa via the Juncao center. Chinese Ambassador to Samoa, Chao Xiaoliang, was present at the opening ceremony.
