In 2021 and 2022, the Chinese Government donated approximately 3.2 million doses of Sinovac Covid-19 vaccines to the Government of Ecuador.
The Chinese Government delivered 200,000 donated doses of Sinovac Covid-19 vaccines to the Government of Ecuador on May 29, 2021.
Then, on October 30, 2021, the Chinese Government delivered 500,000 donated doses of Sinovac Covid-19 vaccines to the Government of Ecuador.
The Chinese Government pledged a donation of an additional 2.5 million Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine doses to the Government of Ecuador during Ecuadorian President Guillermo Lasso's visit to Beijing from February 3 to 6, 2022. On May 17, 2022, these 2.5 million vaccine doses were delivered to Ecuador. The vaccines were expected to be used to vaccinate the population of children ages 3 to 5.
