Grant Description

On October 9, 2020, China's Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) and the Government of Sri Lanka (GOSL) signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ECTA) to provide RMB 600 million for the improvement of medical care, education, and water supply in rural areas. The agreement was signed by Sri Lanka's Finance Ministry Secretary S.R.

Attygalle and China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA) Chairman Wang Xiaotao during Chinese Communist Party Political Bureau Member Yang Jiechi's visit to Sri Lanka.
