Grant Description

On April 6, 2020, PowerChina Chengdu Engineering Corp Ltd. donated medical supplies, including 30,000 surgical face masks, 3,000 KN90 face masks, and 545 sets of protective suits, thermometer guns and goggles to Dhaka Water Supply and Sewage Authority (DWASA).

The purpose of this donation was to aid DWASA in providing necessary protection against the spread of COVID-19, as they were in dire need of PPE.

Tazur Islam, Minister of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives of Bangladesh, and relevant government departments witnessed the donation. The monetary value of the donation is unknown.
