Grant Description

In October 2020, the Chinese government and an assortment of Chinese companies (Record ID#95547) jointly donated anti-epidemic supplies to Kyrgyzstan. The supplies included personal protective gear, ventilators, PCR and rapid test systems, and other essential supplies. These supplies will be used to improve COVID-19 response efforts in Kyrgyzstan.

The monetary value of this donation is USD $6,764,605. A handover ceremony was held for this donation.

At the ceremony, Chinese representatives handed over the supplies to the Ministry of Health, General Staff of Armed Forces, Mayor's offices of Bishkek and Osh, and other government agencies in Kyrgyzstan. The specific Chinese companies that participated in this donation are unknown.
