Grant Description
On December 16, 2021, the Chinese Embassy in Kyrgyzstan provided 2.6 soms of financial support to the Kyrgyz Ministry of Education, which was used to purchase furniture and technical equipment for 15 regional schools throughout Kyrgyzstan.
The purchased items consisted of 60 sets of student desks with chairs, 30 sets of teacher's tables and chairs, 30 bookcases, 30 blackboards, 7 interactive whiteboards, and 7 laser projectors.
The handover ceremony was attended by Du Dewen, the Chinese Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic, Bolotbek Kupeshev, Kyrgyz Minister of Education and Science, Zhyldyz Bakashova, the former Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, and the principals of the 15 receiving schools.
