Grant Description

On June 10, 2020, anti-Covid-19 materials donated by the Chinese government arrived at Carthage International Airport in Tunisia. On June 11, a handover ceremony was held for the donation at the Chinese Embassy in Tunisia.

Chargé d'affaires ad interim of the Chinese embassy in Libya, Wang Qimin, and Chargé d'affaires ad interim of the Libyan embassy in Tunisia, Khalifa Azabi, signed the handover certificate.

The aid included 834 nucleic acid diagnostic kits, 5,000 medical protective suits, 15,000 N95 masks, 100,000 surgical masks, 5,000 goggles, and 5,000 pairs of medical gloves. The exact monetary value of the donation is unknown.
