Grant Description

On September 29th, 2021 (1400/7/7), the Chinese government handed over a donation of blankets and jackets to the Afghan government. The donation consisted of 4,000 blankets and 3,780 jackets.

The handover ceremony at Kabul International Airport was attended by Chinese Ambassador to Afghanistan Wang Yu and Minister of Refugees and Repatriation Affairs Khalil Haqqani. The donation was made to help the Afghan government prepare for the coming winter. China donated two additional batches of winter-related aid to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in 2021.

The first arrived on November 21, 2021 and the second arrived on December 13, 2021 (see Record ID#94567).
