Grant Description

On February 4, 2021, the Chinese Government signed an agreement with the Cabo Verde Ministry of Agriculture and the Environment and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations to provide USD 1.5 million in technical assistance to the Government of Cabo Verde.

The technical assistance will help Cabo Verde with food security improvements including seaweed farming, and guidance to 4,500 farmers and 100 researchers.
