Grant Description

On October 12, 2022, the Chinese Embassy in Benin handed over a donation of emergency materials to the National Association of Beninese Towns (Association Nationale des Communes du Bénin/ANCB). The shipment consisted of 300 school kits for children and 200 50kg bags of rice. The materials will go to victims of flooding in Benin.

The monetary value of this donation is unknown. A handover ceremony was held for this donation.

Peng Jingtao, Ambassador to Benin, Chairman of the National Association of Municipalities of Benin and Mayor of Cotonou attended the ceremony.
