Grant Description

On June 24, 2020, the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region announced a donation of 30,000 disposable medical masks to Mauritania.

This donation was in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, and was given to the Association of Graduates from China in Mauritania and to Chinguetti City. The supplies were shipped to Beijing before they arrived in Mauritania in August of 2020.

The handover ceremonies for the donation were held on August 10 and 14, though it is unclear which recipient's ceremony came first.
