Grant Description
On December 22, 2020, the Chinese Embassy provided school supplies to Nusrat Senior Secondary School in Gambia. The materials donated included books, videos, stationary, and sanitation supplies.
The donated educational items were to be used specifically in the Chinese Culture Corner at the high school and the sanitation supplies were to aid epidemic prevention efforts. The monetary value of this donation is unknown. A handover ceremony took place for this donation at the Chinese Embassy in Gambia.
China’s Ambassador to the Gambia, Ma Jianchun, the principal of Nusrat Secondary School in Gambia, the Chairman of the School Management Committee, and Bo Jiang, the former president of Nusrat Secondary School attended the ceremony.
