Grant Description

On September 25, 2021, the Chinese Ambassador to Equatorial Guinea, Qi Mei, and the Equatorial Guinea Foreign Minister, Oyono, signed an Intergovernmental Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (IETCA) on behalf of their respective governments.

The general goal of the IETCA is to support economic and social development of Equatorial Guinea while maintaining bilateral relations with China. The projects which this ETCA will go towards are unclear. Any monetary value behind the ETCA is also unknown.
