Grant Description

On April 29, 2020, Ambassador Liu Hongyang and Malawi Speaker of Parliament Catherine Gotani Hara jointly attended a handover ceremony for a donation of COVID-19 prevention materials from the Chinese National People's Congress to the Malawi Parliament. The donated materials included 1,000 masks and 2 infrared thermometers.

The masks were intended for the use of members of parliament and parliament staff. The ceremony took place at the August House in Lilongwe.
