Grant Description
According to the Government of Côte d'Ivoire’s Aid Management Platform (AMP), the Chinese Government and the Government of Côte d'Ivoire signed a CFA 703,125,000 grant agreement on October 21, 2013 for Phase 4 of the House of Deputies Technical Cooperation Project. CFA 697,093,247.06 was disbursed in support of this project in a single tranche on June 30, 2014.
The purpose of the project was to maintain a six-story parliamentary complex (Hotel les Députés) in the city of Yamoussoukro. It was completed on October 20, 2015.
The parliamentary complex was previously constructed with financial support from the Chinese Government (see Record ID#85369 and #498).
