Grant Description
According to the Government of Côte d'Ivoire’s Aid Management Platform (AMP), the Chinese Government and the Government of Côte d'Ivoire signed a CFA 389,301,229.70 grant agreement on June 17, 2014 for a Solar Energy Demonstration Project. CFA 389,301,229.70 was disbursed in support of this project in a single tranche on December 31, 2014.
The purpose of the project was to undertake a solar energy demonstration initiative in the town of Prikro within Lacs District and Iffou Region. Project implementation commenced on January 11, 2014 and concluded on June 30, 2015.
