Grant Description

On October 19, 2018, Yunnan Construction and Investment Holding Group Co., Ltd and the Government of Cote d'Ivoire signed an MOU regarding the House of Leisure Construction Project.

Then, on December 11, 2018, the parties signed an RMB 300,000 grant agreement for the House of Leisure Construction Project.

The purpose of this project is to construct a house of leisure (‘Maison des Loisirs’) in the district of Abidjan and the Municipality of Port-Bouët. Yunnan Construction and Investment Holding Group Co., Ltd was responsible for the implementation of the project.

The grant agreement specifies that the project was to be executed by Yunnan Construction and Investment Holding Group Co., Ltd within 5 months of the date of the grant agreement (i.e. by May 11, 2009). However, as of December 2020, this project had not yet reached completion. It has faced major implementation delays due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
