On May 28, 2020, China's Qinghai Province donated anti-epidemic supplies to Burundi.

The supplies included 1,000 sets of disposable medical protective clothing, 30,240 medical surgical masks, 3,000 medical protective masks, 300 goggles, and 20 infrared induction thermometers from Qinghai Provincial Health and Health Commission.
