Grant Description

On October 14, 2021, the Chinese Government delivered 500,000 Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine doses to the Government of Burundi.

The vaccine handover ceremony took place Thursday at the office of the Extended Vaccination Program in Mukaza district in the commercial capital Bujumbura.

Chinese Ambassador to Burundi Zhao Jiangping and Burundian officials including Health Minister Thaddee Ndikumana attended the ceremony.
