Grant Description

On May 20, 2020, the government of the Fujian Province and Fuzhou City provided anti-epidemic materials to the Democratic Party of Panama. These materials included 80,000 disposable medical masks and 1,000 medical goggles. The monetary value of this donation is unknown. A handover ceremony took place for this donation.

China’s Ambassador to Panama, Wei Qiang, the General Secretary of the Democratic Revolutionary Party of Panama, and the Secretary of International Relations attended the ceremony. In May of 2020, the Fujian province donated 80,000 medical masks, 40,000 pairs of gloves and 1,000 goggles to Panama. This was part of that total amount.
