On December 15, 2021, China gifted the Cuban Government another batch of COVID-19 supplies.
The supplies donated amounted to 30 ventilators; 2,000 antigen kits; 100,000 surgical masks; 150,000 masks; 100,000 pairs of surgical gloves; 100,000 pairs of examination gloves; 30,000 protective suits; 20,000 protective glasses; 100,000 protective screens and 20,000 surgical suits. The monetary value of this donation is unknown.
The donation receipt was signed by Chinese Ambassador Ma Hui and Deborah Rivas, Vice Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment at the Cuban Ministry of Public Health Headquarters, Havana, Cuba. On the same day, a $100,000 donation was also made to the Cuban Ministry of Health (see Record ID#91557).
