On October 9, 2020, the Wenzhou Government of Zhejiang Province in China donated anti-epidemic supplies to the Government of Suriname.

Ambassador Liu Quan attended the handover ceremony, as well as Foreign Minister Albert Ramdin and Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Miriam Mackintosh in Suriname.
