Grant Description

On September 1, 2018, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Egyptian President Abdel al-Sisi witnessed the signing of five different agreements.

One of them was an economic and technical cooperation agreement in which the China Ministry of Commerce provided an RMB 100 million grant for unspecified projects. On July 25, 2019, the Republican Decree No. 498 formally approved of the ETCA. The sub-projects are unknown.
