On November 4th, 2020, the National Immigration Administration of China granted anti-epidemic materials to the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense border troops to support Vietnam's fight against the COVID-19 epidemic. The medical supplies include medical masks, protective clothing, hand sanitizer, and antiseptic solution.
The total value of this donation is about 2 billion VND. Counselor Zhao Wanpeng delivered a speech on behalf of China during the ceremony.
The attendees of the ceremony on the Chinese side were Comrade Trieu Van Bang, Counselor of the Police Department, Chinese Embassy in Vietnam; Mr.
Le Co Ngu, Deputy General Manager, General Department of Immigration Checkpoint in Guangxi; representatives of departments and divisions of Guangxi Immigration Checkpoint General Station.
On the Vietnamese side, there were Colonel Do Hiep Thang, Deputy Director of the Border Guard Logistics Department, Standing Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of the Border Guard Command; Colonel Ninh Van Hop, Commander of Lang Son Border Guard; representatives of the Ministry of Defense, the Border Guard Command.
