Grant Description

On May 4th, 2021, the anti-pandemic medical expert team sent by the Chinese government arrived at Vientiane International Airport. Chinese ambassador Jiang Zaidong and Laos Deputy Prime Minister Ji Qiao greeted the team. The team will aid Laos in various areas of anti-pandemic tasks.

Ji Qiao appreciated the aid from the Chinese government and express willingness to cooperate with China in public health and other related aspects.

On May 18th, 2021, the Chinese anti-pandemic medical expert team in Laos held a work summary meeting with the Laos Ministry of Health.

Lao Minister of Health Ben Fung awarded honorary certificates to the members of the expert group to recognize and thank them for their outstanding contributions to Laos' public health. The expert team left Laos and returned to China on the same day in the afternoon.
