Grant Description

In 2016, the state-owned company, CITIC Construction Co., Ltd., sent construction teams to repair four classrooms within the Tiuna Primary School in the barracks of Venezuela’s capital, Caracas.

According to Herminia, the school's principal, the previous state of the classrooms severely threatened the safety of 39 students, as the walls were cracked. The CITIC construction teams repaired the damages within the classrooms free of charge.

The residents of Tiuna greatly appreciate the company’s aid as they develop the Tiuna Social Housing Project with the Government of Venezuela in constructing affordable housing for low and middle-income individuals.
