Grant Description
On August 10, 2017, the Chinese Ambassador to Ecuador announced the recipients of scholarships for Ecuadorian students to study in China in 2017-2018.
This program is part of a January 2015 education cooperation agreement between Senescyt and the Chinese Ministry of Education, under which the Chinese Ministry of Education agreed to provide 300 scholarships over a period of 5-years, starting with the 2016-2017 call and ending with the 2020-2021 call.
The scholarships for 2018-2019 are captured in Record ID#69803 and the scholarships for 2019-2020 are captured in Record ID#89531. The number and value of the scholarships issued for the 2017-2018 academic year is unknown.
This program is part of a January 2015 education cooperation agreement between Sensecyt and the Chinese Ministry of Education, under which the Chinese Ministry of Education (see: Record ID# 91343), which allowed for 300 scholarships to be granted starting in the 2016-2017 school year and ending in the 2020-2021 school year.
