Grant Description

In or around 2013, CHINMED-16, a Chinese medical team part of the UN Mission in Liberia, organized a two week-long training in First Aid for some 20 Liberian participants, including LNP officers, school administrators (including a teacher from the Tubman Wilson Institute in Zwedru), and students from various high schools in Zwedru.

The participants were trained in ways to stop bleeding, dress wounds and deal with fractures, as well basic life support techniques, with the expectations they would share this knowledge and skills.
