Grant Description

On April 18, 2019, China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC), Power Construction Corporation of China (PowerChina), China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC), and China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC) officially donated supplies to Pakistani Bait-ul-Mal (PBM) for their Pakistan Sweet Home project.

The donation included schoolbags, HD televisions, cricket equipment, stationary, and other unspecified items. The monetary value of this donation is unknown. PBM is a poverty alleviation and social welfare agency in Pakistan that is directly under the Pakistani Cabinet. The Pakistan Sweet Home project supports 39 orphanages across the country caring for about 3,820 orphans.

The purpose of this donation is to provide educational and recreational materials for the orphans to use. CRBC, PowerChina, CSCEC, and CRCC are all members of the All-Pakistan Chinese Enterprises Association (ACEA).
