Grant Description

In May 2010, Hanban signed a five-year exchange agreement with North Korea's Foreign Languages Publishing House (FLPH).

Under the agreement, North Korea was to send two to three North Korean scholars on China for studies and internships, while China would annually send a Chinese language expert to FLPH to aid its work.

📋 Staff Comments

Project_status field has been set to Completion because it is apparent from '中朝教育交流概况' that China had sent experts, although the question of whether the agreement was consistently followed during the five-year term merits further investigation.
