Grant Description

On September 11, 2019, the 2019 Zanzibar Food Nutrition and Hotel Management Overseas Seminar sponsored by the China Ministry of Commerce began.

The seminar was entrusted to the China National Research Institute of Food and Fermentation Industries Co., Ltd by the China National Agency for International Development Cooperation and the Ministry of Commerce. The training program was intended to last from September 11 to October 8, 2019, with a total of 45 trainees.

The opening ceremony for the course was held at the Tanzanian Ministry of Tourism.

On September 10, 2019, Zanzibar President Shein met with experts in the Chinese foreign aid training program Zanzibar Food and Nutrition Overseas Training Course at the Presidential Palace to welcome them to Zanzibar.

According to the China National Research Institute of Food and Fermentation Industries Co., Ltd, the Institute has been entrusted by the Ministry of Commerce to undertake overseas training courses in Zanzibar for three consecutive years, with a total of 128 trainees.
