Grant Description

On August 20, 2019, the Chinese Embassy in Congo (Brazzaville) held a send-off reception for recipients of the 2019/2020 China Government Scholarship and military cadets who were chosen to study in China.

A total of 68 students will study in China under the China Government Scholarship, and 65 military cadets will train in China starting in September 2019. The financial amount of the scholarship is unknown.

In addition, as one of the important achievements of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Chairman Wang Yang’s visit to Congo in 2018, Henan Experimental Middle School in Zhengzhou, China signed a friendly cooperation agreement with Olilou-Gampo Revolutionary Middle School in the Republic of the Congo and organized 19 representatives of the latter school’s teachers and students to participate in summer camps in China in July.
