Grant Description

On August 23, 2019, Ambassador Zhang Jianguo and Mauritania Minister of Economy and Industry Muletah signed a new China-Mauritian Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA).

Through this agreement, China will provide Mauritania with an RMB 300 million grant to support the economic and social development of Mauritania. It is unclear what projects the grant will be used for.
