Grant Description

During the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) in Beijing on September 3-4, 2018, the Chinese President Xi Jinping announced the the Chinese Government would write off all interest-free loans that were contracted by the Government of Sudan prior to 2016. The monetary value of the debts that were forgiven is unknown.
