Grant Description
The 20th Medical Team arrived in Gabon in July 27, 2018.
The team was dispatched to Sino-Gabonese Cooperation Hospital in Libreville and Sino-Gabonese Friendship Hospital in Franceville.
On December 27, 2018, Ambassador Hu Changchun Met with President of the Gabonese embassy and the 20th batch of medical teams to aid the Franceville unit leader Sun Junjie and his party. Ambassador Hu listened to the report on the daily work of the Franceville Medical Team and the recent free clinics.
He fully affirmed the hard work and boundless spirit of the medical team members, and together with Captain Sun, he promoted the improvement and enhancement of the medical assistance work in Gabon. On August 2, 2019, the team was given awards by the Gabonese government for their service. Their term ended in late August as the 21st team arrived on August 21, 2019.
