Grant Description

On June 23, 2019, the Chinese Government and the Government of Senegal signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA), which committed RMB 300 million of grant funding for multiple, unspecified projects.

1. In the sources, there is no indication what projects are involved. One of the sources suggest that China seemed to grant 24 billion CFA franc for the rehabilitation of stadiums in 2018. But it is not clear whether that and this are connected. Since there is no mentioning of those projects, it is assumed this is a new project.
